Eloise Southby-Halbish
(AMBASSADOR for ENERGETIC APPAREL)

Just like most young girls in Australia, netball player Eloise Southby-Halbish started playing netball at the age of 11 at primary school. She joined her local club team the following year after watching the 1991 World Netball Championships in Sydney where she decided that one day she would be the Goal Shooter for Australia!

Her dream came true with Eloise playing 34 tests for Australia including the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester (Gold Medallist) and the 2003 World Netball Championships in Jamaica. As co-captain of the Melbourne Phoenix in the National Netball League she was instrumental in motivating her side to 5 Commonwealth Bank Trophy premierships.

Having retired due to injury in 2006, Eloise's life has not slowed down! She is now the ABC's netball commentator, Co-author of Anna Flowers (a fictional netball book), netball ambassador for Energetic Apparel, Camp Australia and Sportsco, Victorian State League coach, Head coach of Penleigh & Essendon Grammar, public speaker, presenter and a full time employee for AFL SportsReady.
She also runs her own business, The Whole 3 Feet, with Phoenix team mate Ingrid Dick.

Bianca Franklin
Bianca was born in Perth, 1984 and started playing netball when only 8 years old for a small country netball team called the “Dowerin Boomers”. She then represented Western Australia for U/17 State Team when she was 15 years of age.

At 18 she then went to the AIS in Canberra and was there for 3 years which she thoroughly enjoyed and was amazed at the facilities that were readily available to assist in the training and learning.

In 2006, Bianca played for the Allied Pickfords Melbourne Kestrels in the National Netball League whilst also working for Netball Victoria in the Marketing Department.

This year (2007), she moved across to live in Perth and has applied for the WA team for next years Trans Tasman competition which would be a terrific experience.

In 2008 she will also seek work in schools running Netball programs.

Energetic Apparel wishes Bianca all the best in her netball future and sincerely thank her for her participation on our website.
